Mina Huynh
Illustrator

Mina is a Vietnamese-American traditional artist and illustrator based in Texas.Growing up with anime and manga, her work takes on their influence. She loves the tactile experience of working with traditional mediums such as watercolor, markers, gouache, and colored pencil—which are still staples in analog manga illustration until now.Mina's colorful character illustrations draws a sense of nostalgia from early shojo and fantasy manga. Examples of some of her biggest inspirations: CLAMP (creator of Cardcaptor Sakura and Code Geass), Naoko Takeuchi (creator of Sailor Moon), and Akemi Akeda (illustrator for Creamy Mami). You can find various collections of her previous works below.
